I will just get into this:
On Monday August 10th I was written up at work. I was written up for two things
ONE: give false information to a residents family "I wasn't aware we did her oral care" that was my false information and
TWO: At the facility I work at we have an aviary which is basically a big cage with annoying messy birds in it. Well every night some one from the evening shift needs to "cover" the birds well the cover for the cage has little screw sticking out under its "roof" that the cloth goes around and hooks to well the thing that hooks on the cage are brackets that you would see on a tarp. well the shift that takes this cover off found that it is had to remove so they facility bough almost curtain clips which is a ring that has a clip attached to it that they places on this cover... well i found it looked very poor and i took them off and told the community manager who told me that we will wait and see. Well i got written up for that because i "changed something that it was not my place to change".
Now why have i gone through all this well if you would just sit back and listen i will tell you. So i was written up and at the facility they had planned a NOC (the over night staff) meeting. So the evening staff that i am a part of we were expecting to have our bosses in towards the end of our shift, so we needed to make sure all residents were in there beds, trashes were out and so on.
WELL here is where it gets intresting on August 7th i cut my leg and had to get stiches and this is my second day back at work since thoes stiches so i am moving a bit slower and i am in pain seeing as how my job requires quite a bit of walking and bending and my stiches are located on my leg near my knee. My lead who is basicly the person who passes medications to the residents (they don't do much more) well she noticed that i was slower than usual and instead of ask me what was wrong or tell me to get on the ball she knowing the bosses are comming in calls one of the bosses and has her come in early to chew me out. When she wasn't even the aid that was getting shorted my hall partner was getting shorted because i wasn't able to move as quickly.
So my boss came in a chewed me out again that is two times in one day and it was over me being slow... THE ONE DAY I DIDN'T PUT ALMOST ALL THE RESIDNETS TO BED. and because the lead thought that i was giving her an attitude when all i was doing was asking a question. Instead of her taking her athority as the lead and asking me or telling me she just called in her boss to to do it.
Well i told you that long days story to get to this that hall partner that i shorted that day well she knew i had hurt myself and the next day when the "boss" came into work she asked her if she had complained about me to the lead that day and she said "no" that she knew i was in pain and was going to be working slow so she picked up the slack. she didn't say anything to the lead. and what her and i think is that the "boss" talked to her and that made her mad because when i worked with her on August 14th she gave me the cold shoulder and didn't comunicate with me at all the whole shift while the "hall partner" from 10th came and helped me when i needed it. Over all the shift on the 14 was tence and she was just angry the whole time. So the "10th Hall partner" went to work today (Aug.15 2009) and she was given a sheet the same she she had last night working only this sheet had last nights date on it but also a whole set of "revisons" that she "didn't" do last night this girl last night when i worked with here she was upset because the list she had was directed that she was to stay in the front area (the HUB) the whole night and she was not to do DIRECT cares to any of the residents unless it was an Emergency (over all this list for her is just to make sure she has something to do but it has turned into something compleatly petty). She then approached the lead and asked her if she did something wrong? and said that she was hurt by the "late revisions" .The Lead then sent her home she told her she wasn't going to fight with her or deal with her (i don't know the exact wording i wasn't there)
So the "10th hall partner" gets home and is steamed and calls me. She thinks that the lead is targeting her because she stood up for me with reguards to the 10th. She also thinks that the Lead and another care giver are after me getting fired or written up to the point where i am dismissed. So that is the Drama and i don't want any part of it but it seems i am in the center of this attack
